2 Corinthians 7:13-16 King James Version (KJV)
13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.
14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
2 Corinthians 7:13-16 English Standard Version (ESV)
13 Therefore we are comforted. And besides our own comfort, we rejoiced still more at the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.14 For whatever boasts I made to him about you, I was not put to shame. But just as everything we said to you was true, so also our boasting before Titus has proved true.15 And his affection for you is even greater, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling. 16 I rejoice, because I have complete confidence in you.

13 They received comfort from them, they first give glory to God for this but now he is thanking them. Titus was close to Paul at this time Titus may have been a new believer. Sometimes we need refreshing, it is important for those who serve to be refreshed, we need a time of personal worship with God as we do together.
14 Paul talked good and told Titus good things about Corinth, they lived up to the good talk. People should be able to say good things about us but we should live in God’s will above all the good things men can say about us because we don’t live for man but live for the Lord.
15 Titus had a greater connection now with Corinth because of how well they treated him. Many times God may open more doors for us to serve and help others by us serving and being obedient and people being moved by it.
16 We first need to have confidence in the Lord but we should be able to trust each other in the Fellowship. We need to live and serve in ways that show people they can trust us.
