Isaiah 1:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Isaiah 1:18-20
ACV 18 Come now, and let us reason together, says LORD, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye are willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword, for the mouth of LORD has spoken it.

18 God wanted to make Israel pure so that they could once again serve Him, He wants to do the same to everyone today it is the reason Jesus died on the cross and defeated death with the resurrection. Scarlet and crimson both are colors often used in scripture to describe blood which is where sin was often seen it was thru blood shed was forgiven and by Christ all sins were forgiven. White is often a color used to describe holiness thru Him we are made holy and can be set apart for His service.
19 Thru the Lord our needs can be met more then just the physical He alone can meet our spiritual needs, He brought us the bread of life, He brought to their ancestors manna form heaven.
20 They would end up falling to their enemies thru battle those who reject God fall victim to the sword of the Word which means they become condemned to hell.
