Isaiah 1:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Isaiah 1:14-15
ACV 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They are a trouble to me. I am weary of bearing them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
14 They were doing these simply because they were traditions not because they were heart felt serving the Lord, we can do Christian activities but if our heart is not in it then it means nothing. They burdened God because these events only were a mockery, the people within churches that are just filling the pew can be a mockery to Jesus.
15 They hearts were not right God would have listened to them if they got their hearts right with Him but they were just praying for themselves and did not care about their relationship with the Lord. Their prayers were not making up for the fact that they were living in sin God will not hear our prayers if we are living in sin.
