Isaiah 1:2-3 King James Version (KJV)
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Isaiah 1:2-3
ACV 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for LORD has spoken. I have nourished and brought up sons, and they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib, [but] Israel does not know; my people does not consider.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
2 Isaiah received the word of the Lord. When the word of the Lord is spoken we should listen. They no longer sought after the Lord; they looked to others gods instead of serving the Lord.
3 To know who cares for you is simple, animals even know who cares for them. Israel did not understand who their master was; they rejected who the Lord was.
