Philippians 4:18-20King James Version (KJV)
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:18-20
ACV 18 But I receive all things, and I abound. I have been filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you, an aroma of fragrance, an acceptable sacrifice well-pleasing to God. 19 And my God will fill your every need according to his wealth in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father is the glory into the ages of the ages. Truly.

18 Paul was content, Paul could wanted more but knew that he did not need but what the Lord had given him, to be content with what the Lord has given us is something most of are not. Paul was given gifts Paul was a servant of the Lord and people wanted to aid him in His service. Paul is letting them know that it is not just him who is happy with the gifts but the Lord is happy with them just as sacrifices given of old.
19 Paul wants them to know that the Lord has taken care of him and so He will take care of them as well, this did not mean Paul was telling them things would never be hard it is often times thru the hard times we draw closer to the Lord, He would not keep us from that, but will take care of us, the soul first then the body.
20 Paul thanks them and gives God the glory, we should always be given God the glory even when we thank others we should be praising the Lord.
