Philippians 4:10-14 King James Version (KJV)
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last you have revived your concern for me. Regarding this, you did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 I do not speak because I have need, for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content. 12 I know both how to face humble circumstances and how to have abundance. Everywhere and in all things I have learned the secret, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things because of Christ who strengthens me.14 Nevertheless you did well having shared in my affliction.

10 Often times knowing that people care gives an encouragement that helps us keep going strong in times of our struggles. Paul had his struggles and knew they cared and knew they would have helped if they could have, sometimes them having heart to help rather then just helping, help can be found in wrong places where they are not doing it to please the Lord but if we have the right heart for one another then we will have a genuine concern.
11 We are to content with what the Lord has given us, this does not mean we don’t try to make things better, it means in all things we follow after Him, what we want is not to be the main factor in us making things better for us.
12 Paul learned how to live with nothing. Do we often serve God because of how He blesses us? We should live strong for Him no matter what He blesses with us. Paul knew that if he just had the Lord He had everything, without the Lord even if he had all the things the world could give him, he knew he would be poor because without the Lord he truly would have had nothing. With the Lord everything we have means more to us.
13 Thru Christ we are able to do anything, that He leads us to. Christ will not often times lead us to do things thru Him we can not do, the only times He may do this is to teach us something but in those times He will be very near to us for us to go to.
14 We are to come together for each other during times of struggle. We are to do whatever the Lord leads us to do for each other as they struggle.
